NLC & Deliveree Form Strategic Partnership to Solve the Trucking Industry’s Biggest Problem

Deliveree NLC Press Release

For Immediate Release
June 21, 2023

The National Logistic Community (NLC) and Deliveree proudly announce their strategic partnership to solve the trucking industry’s biggest problem: truck utilization. The overall focus of the partnership is to help their 1,300 trucking company members fully utilize their trucks with loads from Deliveree’s massive marketplace.

This will be achieved using Deliveree’s advanced technology that proposes booking assignings to trucks based on their location and availability. Moreover, Deliveree’s technology will propose entire schedules that allow trucks to complete a booking and then move immediately to a nearby booking and to continue in this manner through the day. The end result is less downtime between bookings and less trucks driving around empty.

NLC announced the strategic partnership at their annual gathering held in Tangerang in June 2023 which was attended by a large number of their members and senior government officials heading the Traffic Police Department, the Transportation Department and Small and Medium Enterprises Department of South Tangerang. During the event, Angga Purnama, the NLC Chairman, had the following to say:

“NLC’s 1,300 trucking companies have a total fleet in excess of 200,000 trucks. Deliveree’s marketplace will assign FTL and LTL loads to our members’ trucks in the right place at the right time so that their trucks are fully utilized with as little empty time as possible. This means our members will earn more with their existing fleet.” – Angga Purnama, NLC Chairman.

Deliveree’s platform grew 84% in 2022 and is used by millions of Indonesian businesses and individuals every year to transport their goods, cargo, and freight. The strategic partners NLC expect load bookings to exceed 1,000 per day within a short period of launch to accelerate as the strategic partnership gains momentum amongst NLC’s members spread across Indonesia including those located in Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Papua.

“Deliveree’s marketplace and advanced technology are helping our truckers utilize their trucking capacity more efficiently. This means the trucks out there are more fully utilized. This also means less empty trucks on the road which reduces CO2 emissions, reduces traffic, and reduces wear and tear on roads, bridges, and tunnels which is funded by taxpayer money. The commercial, financial, and ESG ripple effects of this are profound.” – Apoorvaa Agarwal, Deliveree Country Manager Indonesia.
